
At this point, it's safe to say that Chris Harris from the British magazine EVO is the envy of all BMW fans around the world. He had the chance of driving the new generation 2012 BMW M5 even before they took off its camouflage tape. The clip shows various scenes featuring the 2012 M5 drifting on the snow. Even though there are no comments yet, we're glad BMW gave him permission to publish this clip before the car's premiere. The 2012 BMW M5 is getting closer and closer to its unveiling moment, so the German car manufacturer is very careful when it comes to the info they let "leak".
What we know so far is that the 2012 BMW M5 will be powered by the same twin turbo V8 engine used in the X5M and X6M.
The horsepower output of the unit however, might get increased over the 555 hp and 680 Nm of torque figures. This has not been confirmed yet.
