BMW is continuing the its revealing campaign for the new generation 2012 BMW M5 today with teaser video No. 3. If you speak German, the new clip will also give you the chance of finding out new details regarding BMW's 2012 M5, which received the codename F10M. Apparently, the 2012 BMW M5 was tested in various road conditions, from the hot asphalt of South Africa, to France, to the snow covered roads of Sweden and the Nurburgring, obviously. The new video also discloses the fact the snow and ice were a very important part in the new M5's testing phase. BMW's test drivers and engineers had to make sure that the rear-wheel-drive, 500+ horsepower 2012 M5 is manageable even in the worst road conditions.
The 2012 BMW M5 hides under its bonnet the same
4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 powerplant that's also found in the X5M and the X6M. However, the general opinion is that the new M5 will have more than the 555 hp and 680 Nm of torque developed by the two super SUVs.
