VW has announced today the Volkswagen Golf Plus VI price list for the United Kingdom market where the first cars will arrive in April. The Volkswagen Golf Plus VI will be available here with four engines and in two trim levels, S and SE. The Volkswagen Golf Plus VI offers a choice between two petrol engines, 1.4-litre 80 PS and 1.4-litre TSI 122 PS, and two diesel units, 2.0-litre common rail TDI with 110 and 140 PS. the transmission options of the Volkswagen Golf Plus VI include the seven-speed DSG gearbox.
The new Volkswagen Golf Plus price for the S trim level starts at 14,410 GBP for the base model and goes up to 17,285 GBP for the 2.0-litre TDI 110 PS 5-spd manual. The Volkswagen Golf Plus VI price starts at 17,860 GBP for the 1.4-litre TSI 122 PS 6-spd manual and goes up to 21,185 GBP for the 2.0-litre TDI 140 PS 6-spd DSG auto.

Just a few days after the hot hatch versions of the Golf – the GTI and GTD – have broken cover, Volkswagen is releasing something even bigger: the new Golf Plus.

Retailers across the UK with prices starting from just £14,410 (RRP on the road) for the entry-level model, the S 1.4-litre 80 PS.
The new Golf Plus is available with four engines: two petrol and two diesel. These are the 1.4-litre 80 PS and 1.4-litre TSI 122 PS; plus 2.0-litre common rail TDI units with 110 and 140 PS. A variety of transmission options, including Volkswagen’s seven-speed DSG gearbox, are also available, as detailed below.
Two trim levels are offered – just S and SE – keeping choice simple for buyers.
The entry-level S specification caters for buyers looking for all the qualities of a Golf, with extra space and flexible seating options at a competitive price. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, a CD player, multi-function computer, electric windows and mirrors, body-colored bumpers, side strips, mirrors and door handles and 15-inch steel wheels. Of course, as you would expect from any car in the Golf family, the Golf Plus also has a comprehensive array of safety features including ABS, ESP, driver and front passenger’s whiplash-optimised head restraints and six airbags including deactivation switch for front passenger airbag.
Moving up to SE trim adds more comfort and convenience. Standard for the first time on any car in the Volkswagen range is the latest generation of Park Assist. This option also adds parking sensors, and using a series of these located at the front, rear and side of the car, plots the ideal maneuvering path into a parallel space either to the right or left of the vehicle. Unlike the Park Assist system which has been available for a while now, this version requires a parking space 20 per cent smaller than previously: this means it requires a space the size of the car plus 1.1 meters rather than the car plus 1.4 meters. During the parking process the driver has no steering input, but is in control of the throttle and brake. Buyers of the Golf Plus SE will also benefit from cruise
control, a front center armrest, leather steering wheel and 16-inch ‘Atlanta’ alloy wheels.
