The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu will be made in a limited production of 99 units, celebrating the rebirth of one of the oldest automotive names. The Diatto name was born 170 years ago in Italy and the father was Guglielmo Diatto. From 1955 until this spring at the Geneva Motor Show the Diatto name was forgotten.

The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu is rooted in the 1920 Diatto Geand Prix car. An interesting feature of the ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu is the chassis which is independent from the body of the car. Even with the body off, the chassis has the same motoring characteristics. The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu chassis is made from forged steel and it was built to withstand twice the forces and tensions created by the engine.

The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu has a front engine with rear wheel drive. The distribution of the weight was improved by putting the engine behind the front wheel axis. The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu has a 8 cylinder, 32 valve, 4600 cc., 530 hp engine. The power output of the engine can be increased to 650 hp. The engine is tuned by Cosworth and Roush Performance.

The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu has a 6-speed gearbox which can be manual or automatic, Brembo brakes, Euro 5 emissions standard.
