| 2008 Porsche Boxster Special Edition | |
| In a sneak peek held a few blocks away from the Javits Convention Center where the New York International Auto Show is staged, Porsche showcased a special-edition Boxster that may go into production later this year. Painted in the same striking solid orange that is offered as one of three colors on the 911 GT3 RS, the Boxster also sports black wheels, black outside mirrors and a black cover on its side intake. This Boxster has a revised front fascia, and a redesigned decklid spoiler that improves vehicle aerodynamics. The interior is also predominantly black with orange trim panels in the door, orange accents on the shifter and orange stitching on the seats. |

| Porsche execs say the limited-edition Boxster could go on sale as early as this summer as a 2008 model. | |
