The 2013 Porsche Boxster's price list for the UK and Ireland markets was announced today, as the sportscar went on sale here last weekend. In comparison to the previous generation of the Porsche Boxster, the 2013 version is 35 kg lighter, has a 60mm longer wheelbase, wider tracks and larger wheels and tires. This helps improve its stability during and increase its speed during cornering. The 2013 Boxster S, which is the top of the range version of the roadster, is able to lap the famous Nurburgring-Nordschleife in 7:58 minutes. This is 12 seconds faster than the previous Boxster S.
The 2013 Porsche Boxster (the base model) comes with a 2.7 liter 265 hp engine, while the Boxster S has a 3.4-litre 315-hp engine.
This is 10 hp more for than before for the entry level model, and 5 hp more for the 2013 Boxster S.
The 2013 Porsche Boxster UK price list starts at £37,589 OTR and goes up to £45,384 OTR foe the S model. Porsche does not mention how much the optional packages cost. But we do know you'll be able to equip your new Boxster with the PDK transmission and the Sport Chrono Package. These extras will improve the speed, acceleration and handling of the 2013 Boxster.
