GM has released a commercial for the new 2011 Corvette that features.. rockets. The new add makes an analogy between the 2011 Corvette and a rocket, kind of saying they're one and the same thing. Although the new 2011 Corvette is definitely a fast car, we're not sure you can actually call it a rocket. The ad features the ZR1 which managed to lap the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 26.4 seconds. The power of the 2011 Corvette ZR1 comes from a 6.2 LS9 small-block V8 engine that sends 647PS and 819Nm of torque to the rear wheels. With a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds, the 2011 Corvette ZR1 has a top speed of 205 mph.
