Chevrolet revealed last weekend the Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition, which is going to be limited to 500 units. Chevy's Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition is based on the 3LT coupe, which is the top of the range version of the model. It's powered by the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, which has an output of 460 bhp and 630 Nm of torque. The engine of the Corvette Premiere Edition sends the power to the Stingray's real wheels via a 7-speed manual transmission. With this powertrain, the new Corvette Premiere Edition is able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. Chevrolet claims that the Stingray Premiere Edition is able to run the quarter mile in around 12 seconds. The Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition is going to be available with a single option in terms of exterior finish, which is Laguna Blue Metallic.

Some of its distinctive design features include a carbon fiber roof, and a carbon flash hood stinger stripe.

The new Chevrolet Corvette Premiere Edition is fitted with a set of Torque-style chrome rims that feature the Stingray logo on their center. For the interior of the Corvette Premiere Edition, Chevrolet is offering a Brownstone sueded microfiber upholstery, various carbon trim parts and branded sill plates. There are various logos too.

The Corvette Premiere Edition comes with a few performance upgrades too. These include the Z51 Performance Package, the magnetic ride control system, an electronic limited slip diff, and a dry-sump oiling system. The Chevy Corvette Premiere Edition is also equipped with an improved cooling system, and various aerodynamic parts. Chevrolet is going to sell the Corvette Premiere Edition with a five-piece luggage set.

The Corvette Premiere Edition's price is going to be announced at a later date.
