Chevrolet presented at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas a new range of personalization options for the new Corvette Z06 Stingray, which they like to call Concept Parts. Apart from the new Corvette Stingray concept parts, Chevrolet also brought at the Las Vegas show two customized versions of the Stingray: a Z06 developed in collaboration with Kiss front man Paul Stanley, and a 1971 customized by NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson. With the new "concept parts", the new Corvette Stingray is able to run the quarter mile in less than 11 seconds and it can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in under 3 seconds. With the 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, and the new concept parts, the Chevy's new Corvette Stingray runts the 1/4 mile in 10.95 seconds and it accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 2.95 seconds. The 7-speed manual gearbox version needs 11.2 seconds and 3.2 seconds respectively to do the same job.
