The specialists from Callaway revealed recently a shooting brake version of the new generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (2014), which is called the AeroWagon. Currently, the Callaway Chevrolet Corvette Stingray AeroWagon is just a concept, but the company is looking to offer the shooting brake body style as an option. The AeroWagon package comes with a rear hatch, and offers more storage space. Callaway will manufacture the body of the Corvette AeroWagon from carbon fiber through their proprietary process, which is called KRTM (Kramer Resin Transfer Molding). Based on the C7 Corvette, the Callaway AeroWagon is expected to be able to reach speeds in excess of 200 mph and still return a decent mileage. Callaway expects that the AeroWagon option is going to be priced under the $15,000 mark.

The Callaway Chevrolet Corvette Stingray AeroWagon is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that puts out 450-hp (335 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (610 Nm). With this engine, the factory version of the C7 Corvette is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 4 seconds.

We'll have more details regarding the Chevy Corvette Stingray AeroWagon as soon as Callaway makes them available.
