Gm revealed today the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition, first of which is set to go under the hammer at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, Fl. The auction is going to take place on Friday, April 8, and it is going to benefit the Karmanos Cancer Institute. The Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition is advertised as a track-ready aerodynamic sports car, which is going to be produced in limited numbers. The Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition comes with Watkins Glen Gray Metallic exterior finish with Tension Blue hash-mark graphics, and satin black full-length stripes. At the interior it features a Tension Blue full leather and suede upholstery. IT also features a 3D representation of an original Grand Sport race car, which is embossed in the headrests.

The same shape is also used on an instrument panel plaque that carries a unique build sequence number. The Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition sits on a set of black wheels.

The power of the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition comes from a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that produces 460 hp and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. The supercar is equipped with dry-sump lubrication.

The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition's price has not been announced yet, but Chevrolet says it will go on sale in the U.S. this summer. The European market is going to receive it this fall.
