Chevrolet revealed the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the beginning of this year, but they waited up until today to announce the specs of its top of the line version - the Z51. The new Corvette Stingray Z51 is able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph (just under 100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds and it's able to run the quarter mile in 12 seconds at 119 mph. According to Chevrolet, the Corvette Stingray Z51 is able to pull 1.03 G during cornering and it's able to stop from 60 mph in 107 feet. This is pretty impressive for a standard, factory vehicle. Chevrolet also claims that during testing, the Z51 Corvette Stingray was able to lap the Grand Course of the Virginia International Raceway in 2:51.78. Apart from the Z51 package, the 2014 Corvette Stingray used for testing was also equipped with the Magnetic Ride Control system.

The Z51 Performance Package for the 2014 Corvette Stingray includes a limited slip diff, a body kit with improved aerodynamics, a dry-sump oiling system, and better cooling systems. You'll have to pay an extra $2,800 for the Z51, on top of the 2014 Corvette Stingray's $51,995 standard price.
