Hennessey Corvette Stingray (2014)

 »  »  »

The North American masters of power from Hennessey recently revealed their upgrades for the new generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (2014). There are four power packs you can choose from, depending on how much you want from your new Corvette Stingray. You can get 600 hp, 700 hp, 800 hp, or 1,000 hp! Hennessey's HPE1000 Supercharged Corvette C7 develops 1,000 hp and an undisclosed amount of torque. To get so much power out of the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine Hennessey has to make some serious modifications that starts with twin ball bearing turbos, forged aluminum pistons, forged steel rods and crankshaft, a custom camshaft, and high flow cylinder heads. Hennessey's Corvette Stingray is also equipped with an upgraded fuel management system, and a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system.

Chevy's new star also gets dual wastegates for that useless sound that makes us all get goose bumps. With the parts, Hennessey is also offering all the tuning and installation work required.

Hennessey does not want to make a sleeper out of their new 2014 Corvette Stingray, so they're also offering a few aerodynamic upgrades. They include a new front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing. All of them are made of carbon. Hennessey will also equip your 2014 Stingray with a new set of wheels, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and a Penske adjustable suspension.

Hennessey did not disclose the price of their upgrades for the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
