2011 Mazda CX5

According to a recent rumor coming from the UK, the 2011 Mazda CX5 is expected to go on sale late next year. The 2011 Mazda CX5 will be based on the company's Kazamai concept unveiled back in 2008. However, at that time, the Kazamai was based on Mazda's Nagare design language. Since then Mazda has announced its model will no longer use the styling lines of the Nagare concept. This means that the 2011 Mazda CX5 will probably use the general proportions of the Kazamai concept, but not its styling.

The actual details of the 2011 Mazda CX5 are not known yet, but an educate guess would say the new model will be powered by the new generation of SKY engines. The 2011 Mazda CX5 could get a 1.8-litre or a 1.6-liter unit with exceptional fuel

consumption and CO2 emissions figures. The 2011 Mazda CX5 might also get the company's new SKY Drive automatic gearbox, together with the new SKY engines.

The 2011 Mazda CX5 will be made available in two body styles, 3-door and 5-door. We'll have more details on the new 2011 Mazda CX5 as soon as the company makes them available.
