Mazda announced today the CX5's price list for the United States market, where the new compact crossover SUV will soon go on sale. One of the strong points of the new CX5 is its best-in-class highway fuel economy of 35 mpg. Thanks to the full range of Skyactive technologies, the Mazda CX5 also manages to offer the best mileage of all non-hybrid compact crossover SUVs sold in the USA (29 mpg). The Mazda CX5 price list starts at $20,695 USD MSRP, which is how much the entry level Sport trim will cost you. This version of the CX5 comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, 17-inch alloys and Yokohama all-season tires, daytime running lights (DRLs), and a roof spoiler.

For the CX5 equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission you'll have to pay a base price of $22,095 USD MSRP. If you want the top of the range, all-wheel-drive Mazda CX5 AWD, you'll have to pay at least $23,345 USD MSRP. The Bluetooth Audio Package is not included in this price and it will cost you an extra $400 USD MSRP. This package includes the 5.8-inch color display, and the HD Radio.

For the Touring version of the CX5, the price list starts at $23,895 MSRP for the FWD models and goes up to $25,145 MSRP for the AWD-equipped ones.

Some of the optional extra offered with the new Mazda CX5 include the Moonroof/Bose Package ($1,130 MSRP), the Technology Package ($1,325 USD MSRP), and the trailer hitch, which will cost you an extra $425 MSRP.
