Mazda announced today the price list of the new facelifted MX5 (2013) for the British market, where the popular model will go on sale on December 1st, 2012. The 2013 Mazda MX5 facelift comes with a new front end design, and a new hood for increased pedestrian safety in case of an accident. In the case of a collision, the bonnet pops up to increase the crumple zone between the bonnet and engine. This helps reduce injuries. One of the novelties brought by the 2013 Mx5 model range include the Sport Tech Nav version, which comes with a TomTom satellite-navigation system with a fully integrated 5.8-inch touch screen monitor, 4GB SD card based map and iPod and Bluetooth connectivity. Mazda is going to sell the 2013 MX5 in two versions: the 1.8i MZR (126 PS) with a 5-speed transmission, and the 2.0i MZR (160 PS) with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a PowerShift 6-speed sequential paddle-shift transmission.
The 2013 Mazda MX5 facelift's price for the UK market starts at £18,495 OTR and it goes up to £23,595 (OTR).
