Mazda revealed today at the 2014 NY auto show the MX5 25th Anniversary edition, which will go on sale towards the end of the spring. Only 100 units of the Mazda MX5 25th Anniversary are going to be sold in the United States. However, the Japanese carmaker did announce its price. The 25th Anniversary Mazda MX5 (Miata) comes with a SKYACTIV2-CHASSIS, lightweight pistons, connecting rods and flywheel, Bilstein dampers and a six-speed manual transmission. Mazda is going to sell the 25th Anniversary MX5 with a Soul Red Metallic exterior finish, Brilliant Black A-pillars, windshield surround, outside mirrors and Power-Retractable Hard Top (PRHT). The MX5 25th Anniversary features black headlight bezels, 17-inch Dark Gunmental 10-spoke aluminum alloys, and Bridgestone Potenza tires.

For the interior of the MX5 25th Anniversary, Mazda chose Almond leather seats and door trim, liquid metal-like satin chrome finish for various trim parts, a Piano Black steering wheel, and various other styling elements.
