BBR's GT270 turbocharged Mazda MX5 is the most powerful one they have built so far. It develops 268bhp at 7,350 rpm and 227lbft of torque at 5,100 rpm. According to its official specifications, the BBR Mazda MX5 GT270 is able to accelerate from nought to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 150 mph (240 km/h). The BBR MX5 GT270 is powered by the 2.0-liter engine that has received countless modifications. It offers four driving modes: One (for everyday use), Two (includes launch control set at 3800rpm, full throttle/no lift gearshift above 40% throttle, auto downshift throttle blip above 3500rpm), Three (economy mode), Four (valet mode, the engine is limited to 3500rpm in all gears).

BBR is offering various optional extras with the GT270 package for the Mazda MX5. These include bigger brakes, Koni adjustable dampers, lowering springs, and a sport exhaust system that increases the output of the car to 302 bhp and 254lb.ft of torque.
The BBR Mazda MX5 GT270's price is set at £29,995 GBP OTR. BBR is going to build just 100 units of them.
