2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible Leaked

 »  »  »

Apparently, the first images of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible have leaked over the web, just a few days after the hard-top version first saw the light of day. We're not really sure if these photos are genuine or not, since they appear to have originated on the website of a die-cast toy vehicles manufacturer. Our sources say that Chevrolet claims they are not genuine, but they sure do look like the real deal to us. At this point only one question remains. Does the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible have a hard-top or a soft-top? It's difficult to figure it out from these images. In any case, we're pretty sure that the 2014 Corvette convertible is going to be powered by the same engine as the coupe.

This means it's going to have a 6.2-liter V8 with 450 hp and 610 Nm of torque. Usually, convertible versions are a bit heavier than the coupes. This means that the new C7 Corvette convertible (2014) is going to be a little slower than the coupe. The 2014 Corvette coupe needs less than 4 seconds to get from zero to 60 mph.

We'll have more details about the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible as soon as they're available.
