Subaru announced today that the world debut of the 2015 WRX STI is going to take place at the 2014 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit next week. So far, Subaru did not disclose any details regarding the 2015 WRX STI, but we can make a few assumptions. The 2015 Subaru WRX STI, which has dropped the Impreza name, is going to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine that will probably develop more than 300 hp. As you can imagine, the new Subaru WRX STI (2015) is going to be equipped with the Japanese carmaker's Symmetrical all-wheel-drive system and probably a six-speed transmission. The new WRX STI (2015) will probably come with a more aggressive styling package than the regular WRX, and it will be available as a four-door sedan only.
