The first images of the 2015 Subaru WRX STI leaked over the web last night, just days before the model's premiere, which is going to take place at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit. Visually, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is not that much different than the new WRX. The only difference we could spot is the huge wing on its boot, the gold light alloy wheels, and the pink "STI" badges. There's also the trademark blue exterior finish. Our sources believe that the 2015 WRX STI will not receive the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as the new WRX. Instead, the new Subaru WRX STI (2015) is going to be powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, that's expected to develop a bit over 300 hp and just under 400 Nm of torque. Subaru has not confirmed these specs yet.
