Subaru revealed today the new WRX STI NBR Challenge race car, which is going to compete in this year's Nurburgring 24-Hour Race (NBR) -42.ADAC Zurich 24H Rennen. The Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge will have its racing debut from 19 to 22 June in Germany. The WRX STI NBR will compete in the SP3T class, which includes cars with turbocharged engine that have a displacement of two liters or less. The race car is based on the new 2015 Subaru WRX STI and it has received countless modifications, required by endurance racing. The Subaru WRX STI NBR comes with enhanced aerodynamics and a lower center of gravity. The new body kit of the WRX STI NBR includes a new front bumper and splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser, a huge rear wing, a modified bonnet and wider wheel archers that include vents that help cool the brakes.

At the interior, the WRX STI NBR come with a full roll cage, a sport bucket seat, a 6-point harness and various other goodies.

The Subaru WRX STI NBR is going to be driven by Toshihiro Yoshida, Kota Sasaki, Carlo van Dam, and Marcel Lasee. After the Nurburgring, the WRX STI NBR is going to compete in 2 races of the VLN endurance series on Saturday 12 April and Saturday 17 May.
