The British journalists from AutoExpress managed to get their hands on the new hardcore version of the rally fighter and have released the first Cosworth Impreza CS400 review video. It's actually the first time ever you'll get the chance to see the mad Cosworth Impreza CS400 on video. The Cosworth Impreza CS400 is powered by Subaru's standard 2.5-liter boxer turbocharged and intercooled engine, that has been upgraded to output a massive 400 PS (295 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 542 Nm (400 lb.ft) at 3,950 rpm. The "fun" figures say the Subaru Cosworth Impreza CS400 is able to teleport from 0 to 100 km/g in 3.7 seconds and can handle a top speed of ... we don't know actually. The car is limited to 155 mph. When you fall under the 4 second to 100 km/h mark, you get into supercar heaven.
The Subaru Cosworth Impreza CS400 is priced just under 50,000 GBP, and will probably be built in limited numbers.
