Subaru has announced today that it has started the deliveries of the new hardcore Cosworth Impreza STI CS400. The first owner of a Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 has already received his pride an joy from the Cross Roads dealer in Tredington, UK.
The custom Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 is powered by the standard engine that has been upgraded to output 400PS (395bhp) at 5,750rpm. The new version is able to rocket jump from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, which frankly, it's supercar level of performance.
Only 75 people will ever get to drive a brand new Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, because the company will not built more than that number.

It’s now a case of life in the fast lane for Mark Edwards – the first of just 75 people to take delivery of their Cosworth Impreza STI CS400.
Edwards, from Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire, took his place in automotive history when he collected the keys to his brand new and highly exclusive performance machine from his local Subaru
dealer, Cross Roads, in Tredington.
The All-Wheel Drive machine boasts an impressive 400PS (395bhp) at 5,750rpm, sufficient to dispatch the 0-62mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds. Other refinements include a bespoke brake package – with six-pot callipers – developed in partnership with AP Racing, giving the car prodigious stopping power. A wide range of further upgrades have also been made to the suspension, exhaust and to the donor Impreza’s exterior and interior styling.
“As a huge Impreza fan I’m thrilled to be the
first to take delivery of the ultimate incarnation of the model line,” enthused Edwards. “The CS400 is everything I’d hoped it’d be and more. The performance is simply astounding and to know I’m one of just 75 people in the world to own one… well, it’s a very special feeling.”
