Chrysler LLC announced today the Dodge Viper is under strategic review in order to ensure a strong future for model. "We have been approached by third parties who are interested in exploring future possibilities for Viper," said Bob Nardelli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer – Chrysler LLC. Chrysler said it will evaluate the propositions of these third parties keeping in mind the best interests of the employees, suppliers, dealers and owners.
Chrysler is prepared to offer operational and financial support during any potential transaction involving the Dodge Viper.
The Dodge Viper is under strategic review as the company prepares itself for the 2009 versions of the Dodge Journey, Challenger, Durango Hybrid and Ram.
