The famous Batmobile received a Formula 1 makeover today, as Gordon Murray, McLaren F1's designer, revealed Batman's new ride. Professor Murray built the new Batmobile, which had its premiere today in London, for the BATMAN LIVE show. The new vehicle is based on Formula One aerodynamics and it features a huge rear wing, blade-like wheel arches, and LED wheels. Gordon Murray's new Batmobile is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and it's emissions free. apparently, the new Batmobile also has a system that enables it to levitate 40 mm above the ground.
The new Batmobile is filled with crime fighting equipment, including radar jammers, all sorts of lasers and various other weapons.
