Apart from the Veloster, Hyundai also brought a new concept to this year's Detroit auto show - the Hyundai Curb. Codenamed HCD-12, the Hyundai Curb previews a new crossover compact CUV for the Generation Y. Meaning the Hyundai Curb is aimed at the younger buyer, living in an urban environment, who enjoys an active night life. With a hi-tech rugged design, the Hyundai Curb comes with all the gizmos a youngster requires. The Hyundai Curb is fitted with the company's Advanced Hyundai Blue Link and vehicle connectivity technology that includes touch sensors and screens, a Continental 12-inch display and a Continental Reflective Heads Up Display (HUD).

The Hyundai Curb promises to offer plenty of

cargo space, a pop-up roof rack and pull-out bike rack, remote access, and a self diagnostics system.

The Hyundai Curb is powered by a Turbocharged 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder engine with ISG coupled with a DSG transmission, that develops around 175 hp. The Hyundai Curb measures 164.2 inches in length, 70.9 inches in width, 63 inches in height and has a 103.9 inches wheelbase. Hyundai estimates that the production Hyundai Curb will offer a fuel consumption of up to 30+ mpg city and 40+ mpg on the highway.
