A new set of spy photos of the Mercedes A25 AMG surfaced the web recently. With these images comes new information about the entry-level AMG model. Early rumors say that the AMG A-Class is going to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which should output just under 340 hp. This is more than a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Now you're wondering why do we compare the Mercedes A25 AMG with the Impreza STI. Well, because the A25 AMG will also get an all-wheel-drive system, as well as a double-clutch transmission. Extra performance comes at a price, so expect the Mercedes A25 AMG to be quite a lot more expensive than an STI.
In comparison to the standard 2013 A-Class, the Mercedes A25 AMG will feature new aerodynamics, a stiffer suspension system, bigger brakes and an upgraded interior.
