Panoz revealed today all the specifications and details of the new Esperante Spyder and of the Esperante Spyder GT. The Panoz Esperante Spyder measures 182.00 inches (4,623mm) in length, 74.75 inches (1,899mm) in width, 47.90 inches (1,217mm) in height and it has a 106.00 inches (2,692mm) long wheelbase. Panoz equips the Esperante Spyder with a standard naturally aspirated V8 engine that develops 430 hp. Upon request, they can push the horsepower output of this engine up to 560 hp. Both versions of the Esperante Spyder come equipped with a heavy duty, close-ratio Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. Optionally, you can equip your Panoz Esperante Spyder with a six-speed automatic gearbox. For those of you that want even more power, Panoz says they can offer versions of the Esperante with up to 800 hp.
In terms of performance, the standard Panoz Esperante is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and from nought to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the Esperante is rated at 172 mph. According to the official specifications, the Panoz Esperante can run the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds at a speed of 112 mph.
The equipment list of the Panoz Esperante includes high performance Brembo brakes, forged aluminum BBS wheels and a leather and Alcantara interior. The Panoz Esperante is also fitted with sport bucket seats, Schroth four-point safety harnesses and a 10.6-inch ID4Motion digital instrument display.
