Russian Tram Designed by Batman

Well, Batman designed himself a tram. Actually, this is the R1, or Russia One. It is a new tram designed and developed by Russian tank maker Uralvagonzavod. The R1 is 24 m long, 2.5 m wide and it can carry up to 190 passengers. Thanks to the design, the driver of the R1 tram benefits from a 180 degree view. Apart from the good visibly, he also gets to play with a dashboard that would be the envy of Starship Enterprise. The Russia One tram comes with all-around LED lights, ambient lighting that automatically adjusts itself according to the time of the day, and numerous interior and exterior CCTV cameras. The R1 tram is equipped with air-conditioning, GPS-based passenger information, Wi-Fi, and the thing we like the most, antibacterial handrails.

The R1 tram comes with regenerative braking, and other environmentally friendly technologies.

Who said public transportation should be dull and uncomfortable? The R1 tram offers business class accommodations, an environment that rivals any top tier airline, and the level of safety only a tank manufacturer could provide. We know we usually deal with cars, but a tram designed by a tank maker? We couldn't let this pass...
