Shelby American has revealed the Cobra 50th Anniversary special edition which will be made available in only 50 units, all of them painted in Shelby black. The Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversary features a premium wine colored leather interior, special badges, wire wheels and other special items. The Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversary is built on a 3-inch diameter DOM tube steel frame with .120 wall with modern Heim joints and graded bolts. The suspensions system of the Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversary includes upper traverse leaf with lower arms, independent front and rear, and the car comes with a Shelby aluminum housing differential and Dana 44 gears with 3.54 gears.
The Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversary will be sold
with either an aluminum or a fiberglass body. The Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversary price starts at $69,995 for the fiberglass version and at $134,995 for the aluminum version, without drive train.
