Shelby American revealed at the end of last week the Cobra Daytona Coupe 50th Anniversary special edition, to mark their FIA World Championship. As you can imagine, only 50 cars are going to be built. There are going to be two versions of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe 50th Anniversary, one made of aluminum and one of fiberglass. The aluminum version is priced from $349,995, while the fiberglass version is going to set you back at least $179,995. These prices do not include the drivetrain. Each of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe 50th Anniversary are going to be delivered as a rolling chassis. They can be fitted with a 289 cc aluminum block engine. Only six original Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe have ever been built, and getting one of them is almost impossible. So these continuation vehicles are the next best thing.
