Ultima Sports revealed recently their latest creation, which is called the Ultima Evolution. Even though the name is not familiar to most of you, we'll tell you just this: the Ultima Evolution accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds. The Ultima Evolution is powered by a Chevrolet V8 LS engine with fuel injection that puts out anywhere from 350bhp to 1020bhp. The top of the range version has a supercharged 6.8-liter Chevy V8 engine and it can run the quarter mile in 9.2 seconds at 156mph. The engine of the Ultima Evolution is mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle transmission sourced from Porsche. The Ultima Evolution comes with several world records, including the 0-100mph acceleration at 4.9 seconds, the 30-70mph at 1.5 seconds and the 0-150mph at 8.9 seconds.
Depending on the gearing, the Ultima Evolution can reach a top speed of more than 240 mph.
The Ultima Evolution is built upon a spaceframe chassis. It features a carbon fiber body and a racing interior complete with sport bucket seats and a roll cage. Don't think the Ultima Evolution is just another hardcore racers. It comes with air conditioning, a leather and Alcantara interior, and an Alpine entertainment system with sat nav. The Ultima Evolution's price has not been disclosed yet.
