The journalists from AutoExpress released new video featuring an extensive review of the new Audi R8 GT. They put the R8 GT against the fastest R8 available, the LMS, with the help of professional racing driver, Marino Franchitti. Priced from 193,000 EUR, the GT version of the R8 is the fastest one you can drive on public roads and one of the fastest supercars available. With 100 kg less weight than the regular Audi R8, and more horsepower, the GT can do some serious damage both on and off the track.
The power of the Audi R8 GT come from the V10 5.2-liter engine, which develops 560 hp and 540 Nm of torque, and it's able to take the supercar from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds. Audi says the maximum speed of the GT R8 is 320 km/h.
