This video shows Ben Collins coming out of the court room where the judges have ruled in the favor of him publishing the Stig's autobiography. This confirms the fact that the 35-year-old former Formula 3 driver was The Stig from Top Gear for the last seven years. Recently, there has been a legal battle between BBC and Top Gear on one hand, and Ben Collins and his publisher, for the right to publish The Stig's autobiography. Yesterday, the court ruled in favor of Ben Collins.
Ben Collins is a Formula 3 and has previously did stunt double work for James Bond Quantum of Solace. Recently, some fiscal documents obtained by the press show that his company has received substantial payments from Top Gear for
"driver services". This was the spark that ignited everything.
We're not sure what will happen next. A few days ago we were announcing that The Stig got fired. Most probably top Gear will hire another driver.
