Volkswagen Amarok Power Pickup

Volkswagen premiered at this year's Worthersee Meet in Austria the new Amarok Power Pickup concept. The Volkswagen Amarok Power Pickup brings honor to its name as it's powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TDI engine that develops 272 PS and a massive 600 Nm of torque. With this engine, the Amarok Power Pickup is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 7.9 seconds. Even though VW does not mention it, we assume its top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The engine of the VW Amarok Power Pickup is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends the power to all four wheels via a permanent 4MOTION AWD transmission. VW's new Power Pickup is based on the single cab version of the Amarok. It is designed to carry spare parts, tools and race equipment, including the kart, as you can clearly see in VW's official images.

The Volkswagen Amarok Power Pickup comes equipped with wider wheel arches, large 22-inch alloys, bi-xenon headlights, a chrome front grille a larger front air intake. Their suspension has also been lowered by 80 mm, which clearly reduces its off-road capability, but at the same time, it improves its handling and increases its cornering speeds. For the rear of the Amarok Power Pickup, Volkswagen chose a carbon fiber diffuser and a bespoke exhaust system with two somewhat rectangular tail pipes.

At the interior, the VW Amarok Power Pickup comes with Nubuck leather sports seats, an eight-inch touchscreen and a 500 watt subwoofer.

So far, VW did not mention whether or not they're going to put the Amarok Power Pickup into production.
