The journalists from AutoExpress released today, on video, their review of the new Volkswagen Golf 6 Cabrio. If you want a VW convertible, the Golf 6 cabrio is just one of the alternatives. The Eos is the second one, and we bet the new Beetle will also be available as an open-top in the near future.
The Volkswagen Golf 6 cabrio is based on the three door version of the popular model and features a retractable canvas top. The top can be opened or closed in 9.5 seconds through a new electro-hydraulic drive system. Other changes in terms of design include a more swept-back front windscreen and a lower roof line in the rear section.
VW will sell the new Golf 6 cabriolet with a range of diesel and petrol engines, with power outputs ranging from 105 PS to 201 PS.
