Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio For 2011

 »  »  »

The last topless Golf was built almost 10 years ago and apparently a new version will come in 2011 as a Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio. As with the previous version, the Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio will be a soft-top model because the design of the car doesn't offer enough storage space for a folded hard-top. The soft-top of the Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio will open and close in just over 10 seconds. The technology for the soft-top of the Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio will be borrowed from the Audi A3 Convertible and the new model will probably not require a roll-bar.

The new convertible will be priced lower than the Volkswagen Eos and apparently will bring a new 1.2 liter TSI petrol engine. The Volkswagen Golf VI Cabrio will be produced exclusively the brand's plants in Germany.
