n2a Stinger brings Corvette Stingray back to life

n2a Motors announced that it's planning to bring back to life the Corvette Stingray in the form of the n2a Stinger. The n2a Stinger will be built on a C6 Corvette chassis, but it will have the classic body styling of the Corvette Stingray.

With composite body panels, the n2a Stinger borrows design cues from the 1967, 1965 and the 1963 models. These include the front end and hood scoop and the split rear window.

The company plans to power the n2a Stinger with the engine from the Corvette ZR1, including the LS9 V8 unit that outputs 638 hp. With this powerplant under the hood, the n2a Stinger will probably be able to get from 0 to 60 mph in a little more than 3 seconds and up to a top speed of around 200 mph.

The n2a Stinger price has not been announced yet, but the company is already taking orders.
