Volkswagen announced today the 2012 Passat price list for the USA market, where the new version went on sale. Volkswagen offers three versions of the 2012 Passat in the United States: the 2.5-liter, the TDI and the 3.6-liter. with several equipment levels, the VW's 2012 Passat offers the 6-speed DSG transmission, a sunroof and the RNS 315 Navigation with Mobile Device Interface (MDI).
In terms of power output levels, the USA version 2012 Passat develops 170 hp when equipped with the 2.5-liter unit, and 280 hp with the 3.6L VR6 engine. The 2012 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI promises to offer a range of up to 800 miles on a single tank, which means it has a 43 mph fuel consumption on the highway.
The 2012 Volkswagen Passat price list for the petrol powered models starts at 19,995 USD for the 2.5L – S equipped with the 6-speed manual gearbox and goes up to 32,950 USD for the 3.6L – SEL Premium.
