However, actual details of the 2013 Volkswagen Golf VII are scarce at the moment.
What's interesting is the reason for which VW is already testing the 2013 Volkswagen Golf VII, as the current gen came on the market last year. On the other hand, the test mule of the 2013 Volkswagen Golf VII could be just a facelift of the current generation.

completely new platform called the MQB, or Modular Querbaukasten. It's German... The 2013 Volkswagen Golf VII will be a truly new generation car, as the Golf VI is built on the same platform as the V.
