Although the company has not announced it officially, the Paris Auto Show official website is placing the Audi S1 in the German company's stand. This means the Audi S1 debut will take place in Paris at the end of this month. Unfortunately, the French page does not disclose any details, nor specs, of the Audi S1. As far as the engine of the Audi S1 goes, there are two possibilities. One would be the 1.4-liter TSI engine found in the Seat Ibiza Cupra. If this is the case, it means the Audi S1 will output just under 180 hp. The second choice could be the 2.0 TFSI engine, in which case, the Audi S1 will have a slightly higher power output.
The Audi S1 will be equipped with the company's 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions and will not have the quattro all-wheel-drive system in the standard. The Audi S1 should go on sale next summer.
