BMW 2 Series M Performance Parts

BMW revealed today the M Performance parts range for the new 2 Series coupe. The BMW 2 Series M Performance parts will go on sale in March 2014, together with the high-performance M235i version of the model. Their price list however, has not been disclosed yet. The M Performance parts for the new 2 Series Bimmer include a Power Kit for the 220d, which offers an extra 12 kW/16 bhp for a total of 147 kW/200 bhp and an additional 40 Nm of torque for a total of 420 Nm. The M235i receives a unique exhaust silencer that gives the sporty coupe a new soundtrack. The M Performance parts also include chrome or carbon tailpipe trim elements for all versions of the 2 Series. BMW is also offering a limited slip diff for the M235i, which is put to the test when the DSC is deactivated.

The M Performance parts range for the BMW 2 Series also include a 20-mm lower sport suspension, specific dampers and shortened coil springs finished in red, bigger brakes with red, yellow or orange calipers, and two sets of 19-inch alloys.

The M Performance body kit for the BMW 2 Series includes a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a new front apron, a rear diffuser, side skirts, a black kidney grille, carbon exterior caps, door sills, and "go-faster" stripes.

For the interior of the BMW 2 Series, the M Performance range includes an Alcantara/carbon sports steering wheel with red central marking and Race Display in the 12-o'clock position, a carbon gear lever and handbrake handle, and an Alcantara gaiter. There are also various other carbon trim parts too.
