BMW revealed today the Racing version of the M235i, as part of the Bavarian carmaker's Sports Trophy Customer Racing program. The BMW M235i Racing measures 1,862mm in width, 1,380mm in height, it has a 2,691 mm wheelbase and a 1,608 mm maximum track. The BMW M235i Racing is powered by the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology, that develops 333hp (245kW). Even though the M235i Racing is purpose-built for what its name says, the car will still be equipped with ABS, DSC and traction control for inexperienced drivers. The new M235i Racing Bimmer is also equipped with a mechanical limited-slip differential, a FIA-certified safety cell, a safety tank, rear and front spoilers, a rear diffuser and carbon side mirrors.

Judging from this photo, the Racing M235i will have wider wheel arches too.

BMW developed the M235i Racing for the VLN Endurance Championship and the Nurburgring 24 Hours on the Nurburgring-Nordschleife. They also hope to enter it in the international stages for the BMW Sports Trophy drivers. The BMW M235i Racing's price is set at 59,500.00 EUR excluding VAT.
