A new BMW 2 Series power kit has been announced at the beginning of this week by the German aftermarket specialists from Hartge. Hartge's new power kit is available for all engine versions of the new 2 Series Bimmer, including the diesel ones. Hartge's power upgrade for the BMW 218d increases the horsepower output of the diesel powertrain from 143 hp and 320 Nm of torque to 174 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The power of the 220d Bimmer is increased by 34 hp and 70 Nm, from 184 hp and 380 Nm to 218 hp and 450 Nm. The new power kit, which includes an ECU upgrade, increases the output of the BMW 225d from 218 hp and 450 Nm to 258 hp and 530 Nm of torque. Instead of 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque, Hartge BMW 220i, when equipped with the new power upgrade, develops 218 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
Hartge did not disclose the price of their new power kits for the BMW 2 Series, but they do mention they can also offer lower kits that reduce the ride height by 30 mm (front) and 10 mm (rear).
