BMW revealed today the Vision concept, which is going to be featured in the Gran Turismo 6 video game. The BMW Vision seems to be based on the new 2 Series. Some speculate that some of the elements of the Gran Turismo 6 BMW Vision might be transferred to the future BMW M2. The Gran Turismo 6 video game is going to be available on PlayStation 3 only. The BMW Vision from Gran Turismo 6 is powered by the 3.0-liter Twin Turbo 6-cylinder engine that develops 404 kW/549 hp between 6,200 rpm and 7,300 rpm and 680 Nm of torque from 1,900 rpm. The BMW Vision Gran Turismo for the GT6 video game comes with a sequential six-speed transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and a rear-wheel-drive system.
BMW says that the Gran Turismo 6 Vision concept weighs just 1,180 kilograms and that it comes with a 50:50 weight distribution.
The BMW Vision Gran Turismo 6 comes with a wide body kit that shows extensive modifications, a lowered suspension system, racing wheels and a full roll cage. So far, Polyphony Digital Inc., the creators of the Gran Turismo 6, did not disclose the video game's release date.
