David Obendorfer is an industrial designer who graduated from MOME Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design of Budapest. The BMW CS Vintage Concept you see in these images is his latest creation. The BMW CS Vintage is meant to be a modern interpretation of the 1968 BMW E9, but it borrows various design clues from the 1965 BMW 2000 CS (E120 series). David Obendorfer's interpretation of the BMW E9 is based on a 6 Series chassis and it features various styling solutions borrowed from the nautical world. The original BMW E9 was coachbuilt by Karmann and it was also known as the New Six Coupe. It stayed into production up until 1975 and it was available with a range of engines, starting from a 2.5-liter twin carburetor (2.5CS).

The top of the range version had a 3.2-liter engine equipped with fuel injection.

The interior of Obendorfer's BMW CS Vintage manages to keep the classic look, but it also features a larger TFT screen hidden in the dashboard. There's a lot to say about the David’s Bimmer, but we'll let the images do all the talking.
