BMW i3 Spied

 »  »  »

BMW recently released a set of spy shorts showing the new i3 during cold weather testing near the Arctic Circle. The "official" spy images show a completely camouflaged prototype of the BMW i3 so we can't really distinguish the styling details of the future production model. However, since we are talking about BMW, the finished product is going to look very similar to the BMW i3 concept revealed by the German carmaker almost two years ago. As they released the so-called spy photos of the BMW i3, the Bavarian car manufacturer says they were pleased with the results and with the progress they made so far. The production version of the BMW i3 is going to be an electric car with an output of 170 hp and 250 Nm of torque. BMW says that the i3 is able to reach a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h) and that it can accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.9 seconds.

We'll have more details about the BMW i3 as soon as they're available.
