Chevrolet announced its participation at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas with several modified vehicles. Among those there's a fleet of Spark and Sonic models, alongside a few other larger vehicles. The Chevrolet Malibu Turbo Performance Concept is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which is good for 259 hp and a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of 6.3 seconds. This special Malibu is going to share Chevy stand with the 2014 Impala Concept, which raised quite an interest among customers since its launch. Chevrolet is also going to show at SEMA a B-Spec race car concept based on the Sonic. The Chevy Sonic B-Spec is powered by the standard 1.8-liter engine, but it has received several modifications to make it ready for the track.

The Chevrolet Cruze Upscale concept is meant to show customers that the budget model can moved higher on the luxury ladder, if you're willing to spend a little more money on aftermarket parts. Chevy's stand at SEMA 2012 is going to feature three Sonic Z-Spec concepts, which come with various modifications. One of the most interesting vehicles on Chevy's stand is going to be the Spark Sinister concept, which features a distinctive aerodynamic package.
