To celebrate the snake's racing heritage, Dodge revealed today the Viper SRT GTS-R, which is going to have its competition debut at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen race weekend, June 27-29, at New York’s Watkins Glen International circuit. The GTS-R Viper SRT features the supercar's classic red and white livery, which is going to be used for the entire 2014 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season. These are the colors that helped the Viper take the overall victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2000, a GTS class win in the 2000 24 Hours of Le Mans, and American Le Mans Series championships in 1999 and 2000. Apart from the livery, the Viper SRT GTS-Rs are going to wear the special 100th anniversary logo.
The Dodge Viper SRT GTS-R is going to meet the race track for the first time on Friday, June 27.
